Home (Original Poetry)
Fleeting memories haunt her mind
As she longs for what lies behind.
Such hiraeth filling her soul
And looking back, she longs for home.
The moments spent at the river
Afternoon picnics at the lake.
Running through the Daisy field.
The only place she had called home.
But now she’s far from this place
Still only memories remain.
The bond she made will not fade
It still lives on and will not change.
